Róbert Remeselník has established himself on both the domestic and international stages, first as a light tenor and later expanding his repertoire to include lirico-spinto roles in the tenor voice category. He achieved his first successes shortly after graduating from the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, where he studied under the renowned and internationally acclaimed mezzo-soprano Ľuba Baricová. He gained renown primarily through guest appearances at theaters in Slovakia, Czech republic, Germany, Poland, Spain, France, Austria, Switzerland, Denmark, and Japan, where he portrayed several demanding leading tenor roles in the lyric repertoire. He completed a vocal course with the renowned German opera singer Thomas Thomaschke and attended several training programs abroad, from which he gained valuable interpretive experience.

His signature roles include tenor parts for lyric and lirico-spinto voices. In Japan, he appeared as Mozart’s Tamino in The Magic Flute; in Spain, he was warmly welcomed as Lensky in Tchaikovsky’s opera Eugene Onegin and as Alfredo in Verdi’s La Traviata. In the Czech Republic, he performed numerous roles from the core tenor repertoire, including operas by W. A. Mozart, G. Donizetti, G. Rossini, G. Verdi, R. Wagner, and other giants of world opera. On Czech, Slovak, and German stages, Remeselník has also portrayed many operetta roles in dozens of performances across Europe.

Both domestic and international critics most often describe Remeslník’s voice as resonant, penetrating, balanced across all registers, full-bodied, rich in timbre, supported by a long breath with an emphasis on sustained notes. His voice possesses both a metallic quality and warmth; in the upper register, it is rounded with a clear peak, and his high register is resonant, stable, unforced, and soft. His low register is resonant and rich in color.
